California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program

COOK Alliance is joining with CAMEO (California Association for Micro Enterprise Opportunity) to provide technical assistance for the California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program. We will be specializing in small food businesses, including MEHKOs, Cottage Food Operators, food trucks, caterers and more - we want to support all local food businesses.

The short version:

• Timing:: Round 6 of the Grant Program opens on April 28th at 8 AM and closes on May 4th at 5 PM PT.

• Eligibility: Businesses must be fully permitted by June 2019 and able to demonstrate that they have been affected by Covid, typically by showing an income drop in their tax reports between 2019 and 2020.

• Applying: Small businesses and nonprofits may apply directly to the program or through a partner organization. Those who made it onto the waitlist in earlier rounds need not re-apply.
